Ratna is one of the main charcters in Hore gallu written by sudha Murthy. She is a middle aged woman. For the last 25 years she has been working with Sudhamurthy in the office of Mumbai. She always finds time to listen the worries of her workmates during the lunch hour. Eventough she has not an answers hears them without any judgement. Her character resembles to the character of Sudha murthy's grandfather. Both of them were doing a social service in their own ways. Ratna is very sympathetic and Kindful . Her characteris is interesting and touching.
